Silver Falls State Park
Located about 12 miles from us, Silver Falls is a must see. Open Daily. Stop by the office to grab brochures before you make the trip up the mountain.

Oregon Gardens
The Oregon Gardens is an 80 acre botanical garden located just 2 miles from the Park. They have 4 miles of ADA paths, more than 20 specialty gardens, and are pet friendly.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House
The Gordon House was designed by influential architect Frank Lloyd Wright. This beautiful house can be found on the Oregon Garden grounds. An example of Wright's "Usonion vision" for America, and was one of the last homes he built for the working class citizens.

Silverton Reservoir
The Silverton Reservoir is located on the Cascade foothills 2.5 miles east of Silverton. Locals enjoy swimming, boating (non motorized), and fishing in this 68 acre impoundment.

Gallon House Bridge
The Gallon House Bridge is the last covered bridge (and the oldest) in Marion County. Built in 1916, locals dubbed it the Gallon House during the Prohibition era. The neighboring city Mt. Angel allowed alcohol, whereas Silverton did not. "Dry" Silverton residents would cross this bridge to buy gallon jugs of their poison.

Mount Angel Oktoberfest
Oregon's very own little German town. During September, there's the Oktoberfest celebration, which features many activities such as: live music, Beirgarten, Wiengarten, food booths, and much more. RV spaces in our park fill up almost a year in advance for this event, so please plan accordingly.

Salem's Riverfront Carousel
Children and the young at heart alike enjoy this attraction. Located in the heart of downtown Salem, the Riverfront Carousel is a nonprofit organization that provides family fun for a low cost. In addition to the carousel, there is also a museum on site, where you can view the new horses, or one's that have been "retired".

Willamette Mission State Park
Located about 4 miles North of Keizer, this park offers a little bit of everything. Kayaking, Birdwatching, Horseback riding, and even Disc Golf are popular activities here.

Oregon State Capitol State Park
In addition to being the home of our state legislators, the Capitol building is on beautiful grounds. Sporting several fountains, you'll also be awestruck by the beauty of the cherry blossom trees that are throughout the park.
